Thames Valley Police appeal for witnesses following road traffic collision

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in MK.

A man in his 30s sustained serious injuries as a result of the incident, which happened at around 8am on Saturday. At the time of writing he’s still in hospital.

A red Volvo was travelling along Saxon Street in the direction of Oakridge Park, when it went off course and turned left at the Marlborough Roundabout, colliding with a tree.

A 41 year old woman was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and has since been released under investigation.

Investigating officer PC Thomas Record of MK Police Station spoke of the collision in a statement released today.

He said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to please come forward.

“I’d also urge any motorists who were in the local area around the time of the incident to please review any dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that could help this investigation.
