Thames Valley Police appeal for witnesses following M1 crash

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash on the M1 near Milton Keynes which has left one man in hospital.

The incident occurred at around 10:34pm on Thursday, when a black Audi A4 and a white VW Tiguan were both travelling southbound between junctions 14 and 15 when they collided.

Although no other injuries have been reported, one of the drivers, a man in his eighties, sustained chest injuries and is currently being treated at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Investigating officer PC Alastair Jarratt of the Roads Policing unit spoke of the incident in a statement released this afternoon.

He said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or saw the vehicles described shortly before the incident to please get in touch.

“If you were driving in the area at the time, please check your dash-cam footage as you may have captured important information that could help with our investigation.
