Tuesday 19 January 2021

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash in Aylesbury.

A black Ford Fiesta and silver Jeep Grand Cherokee had a head on collision at around 6pm yesterday on the A41, Fleet Marston.

Whilst the driver of the Fiesta sustained an ankle injury and is still receiving treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital , everyone else involved was unharmed.

In a statement released earlier today, Investigating officer PC Nigel Rosier of the Amersham based Joint Roads Policing Unit spoke of the incident.

He said: “The road was busy at the time of the incident and I would like to appeal for anyone who may have seen what happened to get in touch.

“Please check your dash-cam footage and if it has captured anything of the incident, we would ask you to share this with us.

“Also, if you saw either of the vehicles before the collision or think the vehicles may be captured on your dash-cam footage, it would be useful to hear from you.

“You can get in touch by calling 101 or making a report online using the reference number 43210023396."
