MK SEND going virtual for 2022

Monday 24 January 2022

The MK SEND Information Festival, MK’s annual event for SEN children and families, will be going virtual in 2022.

It’s typically attended in person by over 500 people, but this year it will take place online and on video, on Friday 4th of February and Saturday the 5th of February, due to ongoing concerns about Covid-19.

SEND will be opened by the Mayor of MK, Cllr Mohammed Khan at 9:30am.
Cabinet Member for Children and Families at MK Council Cllr Zoe Nolan, also commented in a statement released today, saying that:

“We’re delighted to once again be hosting our annual SEND Information Festival. This year’s theme is ‘Wellbeing’ and there’s a packed programme of online workshops designed for parents and carers of children and young people aged under 25 living with special educational needs and disabilities. I’m grateful to our partners and Council colleagues who’ve put this year’s event together and we hope lots of young people and their families take advantage.”

More information on the event is available here: www.mksendinfoday.co.uk and anyone interested can register here until Tuesday the 1st of February: https://mk_send_info_day_2022.eventbrite.co.uk.
