Friday 16 October 2020

Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a man has been sentenced for harassment in Milton Keynes.

Aaron Clifford, aged 39, of Roveley Court was today sentenced to 12 weeks imprisonment suspended for 12 months, in addition to a restraining order, after he repeatedly phoned a Thames Valley Police officer, with the calls including harassment and threats.

These calls took place between the 20th and 22nd of July last year.

Police Sergeant Catherine Story spoke of the sentencing in a statement released today.

She said: “I am happy with the outcome of this case but more importantly it demonstrates that positive action will be taken against those that feel it is acceptable to harass, abuse and threaten police officers or PCSOs”.
